These two wanted a very “old elegance” feel to their wedding day, and they accomplished that beautifully. The Hassayampa Inn was the perfect setting to complete the old Prescott ambiance.

To say this wedding didn’t go according to plan would be a bit of an understatement. It was supposed to take place on a beach in Puerto Rico….but unfortunately Hurricane Maria derailed those plans. And also left them stranded there for two weeks unable to get out. So for this being their plan b a couple months later…you would never know it. They were even able to bring a bit of the beach here to AZ. :)

I’d been looking forward to shooting this wedding since meeting this adorable couple at their engagement session this spring. Needless to say, it didn’t disappoint! It was a gorgeous rooftop ceremony at the historic Hassayampa hotel; and the weather cooperated just enough. It poured 30 minutes after the ceremony…..we got lucky. :)
