These two widely photogenic seniors decided to do a combined session, and it ended up being so much fun. We started downtown and the weather was warm and sunny….by the time we hit the woods it was cloudy and cold…and then the lookout was freeeeeeezing and ridiculously windy. These two couldn’t have been better sports with it all though, and the resulting images made it totally worth it.
I feel as though I’ve been buried in weddings since spring, so it’s fun to mix it up a bit and do a senior session. This sweet girl’s mom is a good friend of mine so I’ve known her since she was little; and I’d occasionally pick her up from elementary school, go get her hopped up on chai tea and give her back to her mom. :) She is such a beauty inside and out, making this session so stinkin’ fun to do.
This has to be one of my favorite grad sessions to date! This sweet girl is set to graduate nursing school in a few weeks, and let me tell ya….anyone to get her as their nurse, they’ll be really lucky! Seriously one of the nicest people I’ve met and not to mention, so stinkin’ pretty.
At the risk of sounding really old….I gotta ask. What happened to the awkward teenage stage?!? The seniors I’ve had the pleasure of photographing make high school look gooooood. This girl was no exception…..ridiculously gorgeous and so fun to work with.
Gorgeous girl + pine forest + golden hour light……can’t go wrong. Love this senior session!
This senior session was so fun! We had to battle some pretty stout winds, but luckily we were still able to make due. Not only is this girl absolutely gorgeous, she’s also quite the talented dancer. The result are images that I’m seriously drooling over….

This girl was so wildly photogenic, it’s honestly hard to like her. :) Except she’s also the sweetest. The fact that she was super comfortable around horses made for such a fun senior session. Her and the palomino looked pretty dang good together. Plus….that light. Couldn’t beat it.
The more senior sessions I do, the more I fall in love with them! This girl was such a sweetheart and game for anything! Her horse…..not so much. Even with his lack of cooperation, the photos came out gorgeous!!
One of my favorite senior sessions to date! I had an awesome property for the backdrop, and a photogenic cowboy to shoot….doesn’t get much better!
Senior sessions are so much fun. I love how creative they can be and how kids usually have a very clear vision of what they want. Ahhhh….pinterest. :) This session almost didn’t happen being true to my streak, just as we were about to start it POURED! So we got to hole up in an old barn and dodge leaks in the roof until it passed. Luckily it did pass, not quickly, but it passed.
