hiebert wedding

Just getting around to posting this fun wedding from the fall. Taking place on Friday the 13th….they took the theme and ran with it, and executed it beautifully, I might add. Weddings typically look fairly similar, so it’s fun to capture one that’s totally different!

Covid cancelled their original wedding set to be held in the Phoenix Botanical Gardens in 2020, so they just downsized their plans and had a sweet little ceremony in an Air BnB instead on their date. A year later, they had the prettiest reception at the loveliest spot in the desert…. I’m so glad I was able to capture it all for this gorgeous couple.

The wedding for this adorable couple was well over two years in the making….and not by choice. After taking their engagement photos, their wedding was supposed to take place 6 months later….and then covid shut everything down. Their special day ended up taking place a year and a half later instead. It was well worth the wait.

This gorgeous Sedona elopement will definitely go down as one of my favorite weddings ever. The officiant drove a rented off-road jeep, and the bride, groom, groom’s brother, as well as myself, all piled in and headed to the most gorgeous remote elopement spot. We were able to time the ceremony in between rain storms, and even though it was a bit breezy and cold….the added drama of the sky was completely worth it.

The pandemic derailed this couple’s normal wedding plans….they had to cancel their large wedding and just get married in a tiny, simple ceremony instead. They still wanted to get photos though, so we did this gorgeous bridal session at Granite Basin Lake. It was laid back, fun, and so lovely.
