Gale force winds were predicted in the afternoon for the day we scheduled this family session…..so I thought I’d be super smart and avoid it by switching to the morning. My plan worked up until I was about to click the shutter, and then the wind kicked up. Despite the less than ideal elements, I’m smitten over how this session turned out! I even kind of like the drama the wind added to the images….
If I was ever to put pictures of other people up in my home….these would be it. 😂 All these lovely ladies are so dang photogenic, it’s ridiculous! Taken on the family ranch, the light and grasses were perfect….resulting in the most drool worthy session.
My camera usually has a tendency to bring out the worst in the wee ones, but this little doll was such a trooper. I loved capturing this sweet little family!
I adore this sweet, growing family. I can’t wait for their new babe to get here so Oliver has yet another kid neighbor to yell at through the fence. :)
This sweet little doll of a tot is about to become a big sister; so we wanted to quick get some photos of her and her lovely mama before the newest addition joined. ❤
Families don’t come cuter than this one…..and I’ve seen a bunch. :) Her family ranch provided the most beautiful backdrop for this adorable session….I mean we even had two cows posing in the background. It doesn’t get better.
Fall is my favorite for multiple reasons, but one of the biggies is the beautiful buttery light it provides. The setting was nothing short of dreamy for this sweet maternity session. And like normal, their fur baby Maggie stole the show. I’ve never seen a Lab hesitant to walk in tall grass, but once she warmed up to the idea, there was no stopping her. 😂 Sticks had to be thrown really far to keep her out of the shot.
It was less than a year and a half ago that I was capturing this lovely couple’s wedding, and now they’ve added a precious baby girl to the family. These two are some of my favorite people and I’m so happy for them and their perfect little gomper. :)
