Probably my favorite senior session to date. We hiked in completely inappropriate footwear, encountered every type of weather in a matter of a couple hours, and got eaten alive by bugs…..but man did the photos turn out great. :)

I feel as though I’ve been buried in weddings since spring, so it’s fun to mix it up a bit and do a senior session. This sweet girl’s mom is a good friend of mine so I’ve known her since she was little; and I’d occasionally pick her up from elementary school, go get her hopped up on chai tea and give her back to her mom. :) She is such a beauty inside and out, making this session so stinkin’ fun to do.

At the risk of sounding really old….I gotta ask. What happened to the awkward teenage stage?!? The seniors I’ve had the pleasure of photographing make high school look gooooood. This girl was no exception…..ridiculously gorgeous and so fun to work with.

Sometimes you have to scrap together “esthetically pleasing” locations for shoots….and then there are shoots like this one. Historic bridge, old corrals, red rock cliffs, antique truck, and a photogenic cowboy….I’ll take it. :)
