This couple came to me wanting darker, film vibes for their session….and water. The first request was easy enough, but the water portion proved a little difficult in northern AZ this year. We set the session for mid-August, thinking the monsoons would have hit, but were sadly wrong. Luckily Granite Basin was low….but still had enough water to give the most beautiful backdrop.

This session was a steamy one….no literally….it was crazy humid, which is strange for here. 🤣 The humidity made for a super cool effect to the photos though…filtering the light and producing the prettiest rainbow. Totally worth having sweat run down my back and into my eyes.

I’m about a million shoots behind in posting…partly because I’m just trying to keep up on getting galleries out the door….partly because with tiny living comes limited internet access. The ol’ hotspot can only do so much. 😂Here’s a recent Sedona engagement session that was so fun to shoot. The couple was so lovely to work with, the views couldn’t be beat, but it could have maybe been a little cooler than 100 degrees….

I’ve officially become so far behind on posting sessions, I’m giving up on trying to catch up. So here’s a fun recent engagement session! I loved everything about this shoot….the couple’s awesome style….the moodiness the incoming snow storm created…and especially how sweet these two were.

Wanting to have a bunch of engagement photos displayed at their wedding, these two decided to have a second round of engagement photos taken….this time, a little closer to home. We had to reschedule about 4 different times due to pandemic restrictions, but it was so worth the wait.

These two wanted a very “fall-ish” looking setting for their engagement shoot, and I definitely think this spot fit the bill. I’m so glad I got to do one last shoot at this historic location before it became a hotel.
