baker family

Gale force winds were predicted in the afternoon for the day we scheduled this family session…..so I thought I’d be super smart and avoid it by switching to the morning. My plan worked up until I was about to click the shutter, and then the wind kicked up. Despite the less than ideal elements, I’m smitten over how this session turned out! I even kind of like the drama the wind added to the images….

sorrells wedding

I love capturing cowboy weddings….even when it’s 104 degrees in the desert. Although it could have been a little cooler, I adored capturing Ty and Brittney’s big day!

ayala wedding

This wedding was originally planned for the spring, but the pandemic put a monkey wrench in those plans. Not wanting to wait any longer, this sweet pair decided to downsize and change plans a bit so the show could go on. I don’t know what they had planned to begin with, but I don’t think a day could get more lovely than this.

katie + lewis II

Wanting to have a bunch of engagement photos displayed at their wedding, these two decided to have a second round of engagement photos taken….this time, a little closer to home. We had to reschedule about 4 different times due to pandemic restrictions, but it was so worth the wait.

kolbe + helen senior

These two widely photogenic seniors decided to do a combined session, and it ended up being so much fun. We started downtown and the weather was warm and sunny….by the time we hit the woods it was cloudy and cold…and then the lookout was freeeeeeezing and ridiculously windy. These two couldn’t have been better sports with it all though, and the resulting images made it totally worth it.
