This wedding was everything an early summer wedding should be…..light, airy, and absolutely stunning. Not to mention the bride and groom are some of my absolute favorites. It made for such a fun wedding to photograph!

Anyone who knows me, knows I will rarely speak highly of anything where it’s 100 degrees…..but this desert engagement session was absolutely dreamy. The Desert Botanical Gardens provided the most perfect backdrop for this beautiful couple’s session. The setting….that light….the couple….perfection. ❤

This definitely goes in the books as one of my favorite engagement shoots to date. Not only was the couple gorgeous, they were so easy to work with. They had me pick the location (they’d never even seen it), and they had no problem hiking on the boulders in dress attire or standing at the base of a tree we were all allergic to. The results were definitely worth the sneezes the next day. Can’t wait for their wedding next year!

This wedding finished out the lovely Van Dickson Ranch’s wedding season; and what a beautiful wedding to end on. The weather was perfect, the couple was the absolute sweetest, and every detail was gorgeous.

If you were to ask me to dream up a wedding to photograph, it would probably look something like this. I met this lovely couple for an engagement session in AZ, and they told me about their wedding the following year taking place cliff-side in California. I remember thinking how lucky their photographer was gonna be; and then a few months later they asked if I’d be willing to travel. Needless to say they didn’t have to twist my arm. The stunning cliffs of Big Sur, CA provided the perfect setting for this gorgeous wedding….from the beautiful resort, to the flowers, to the accessories, not a detail was overlooked. If anyone else wants to have a cliff-side wedding, please sign me up.

This beautiful autumn wedding was definitely planned with their guests in mind. From the lovely venue, to having the delicious Rosa’s Italian restaurant cater the buffet, to having a donut bar in lieu of a cake…..I definitely wasn’t complaining. It was such an enjoyable wedding to shoot!

This couple had to deal with every bride and groom’s nightmare…..their original photographer had to cancel on them 10 days prior to their wedding. 10 days. As luck would have it, I was scheduled to be in the area the weekend before and was able to extend my trip to capture their big day. I’m so glad it worked out because these two were so great to work with….and not to mention their wedding was drop dead gorgeous….

Small, backyard celebrations have officially become my favorite. Doesn’t hurt that with this one every detail was so beautiful, and the couple are actually good friends of ours. Plus, holy crap are they photogenic together! And as an added bonus….man can they dance! Gotta love a cowboy wedding. ;)
