This wedding was unlike any “backyard” wedding I had ever captured. First off, the “backyard” was prettier than the majority of venues I’ve shot at. Second, the “backyard” accommodated a couple hundred people. And lastly, not a beautiful detail was overlooked. Add in a couple that was so easy to work with….this one will easily go down as one of my favorites.

The wedding for this adorable couple was well over two years in the making….and not by choice. After taking their engagement photos, their wedding was supposed to take place 6 months later….and then covid shut everything down. Their special day ended up taking place a year and a half later instead. It was well worth the wait.

This end of June wedding at the Van Dickson Ranch was a hot and smoky one, but it was so dang beautiful. Postponed a year due to covid, I’d say it was well worth the wait!

This gorgeous Sedona elopement will definitely go down as one of my favorite weddings ever. The officiant drove a rented off-road jeep, and the bride, groom, groom’s brother, as well as myself, all piled in and headed to the most gorgeous remote elopement spot. We were able to time the ceremony in between rain storms, and even though it was a bit breezy and cold….the added drama of the sky was completely worth it.
