Can my neighbors get any cuter?! Seriously! I was so excited when they asked me to take their family photos because they’re all so dang good looking! Add in an old farm with antique trucks, and this session was magic. On a different topic, I’ll probably be going next door to have her braid my hair….

One of the most photogenic families around! I look forward to taking their photos every year….not just because they’re good friends, but mainly because they’re so adorable. And yes that’s my son making an appearance in their family photos. Haha. Meh.

de la cruz family

One of my favorite things as a photographer to be able to watch families grow. I’ve known this sweet family for a few years now, so it was so fun to be able to do a fall family session with their gorgeous little girls. The leaves were perfect….the day was gorgeous….and the family was adorable. :)

To say that this shoot started a little rocky would be a bit of an understatement! This little sweetie had missed her nap, so photos were the last thing she wanted to do. She wouldn’t even look at me for about the first 30 minutes. Luckily, I have a toddler…..I don’t break easily. And by the last 10 minutes of her shoot, she really warmed up to me! ;)

With all the lovely weather we’ve had this fall, this day was definitely not ideal….chilly temps and super windy. These guys were troopers though, and it was so fun to get to photograph these adorable little girls! In about 14 years Eddie is gonna have his work cut out for him. ;)

It’s been a whirlwind of shoots lately, and I’m finally now getting the chance to edit some of the past couple months sessions for the web. This was a such a sweet session with an adorable family that is about to grow by two more precious babies. Although you’d never guess it by looking at Holly, they’ll be welcoming twin boys next month!

Last year when taking my maternity/family photos, I made Jess shoot through the thickest falling snow ever. It made for such a gorgeous backdrop, but it also made it hell on Jess being she couldn’t even use auto focus on her camera it was so heavy. I should have known when we set a date for her family photos, it was was going to snow like crazy. Payback it rough. :) Luckily it let up just before our shoot time and left us with just the most perfect blanket of freshly fallen snow.
