This wedding was small and simple….but definitely not short on beautiful details. I also think they picked the one non-windy day of the entire spring, which definitely helped me!

I love couples that are able to have fun and interact in front of the camera….which definitely isn’t the easiest to do! These two nailed it though. I can’t wait for their November wedding!
We unfortunately had crazy to winds to contend with on this sweet couple’s big day…..welcome to spring in the southwest. We made it work though, and I’m so happy with the way the photos turned out! And on a side-note, can we all take a second to appreciate how photogenic the bride’s horse is!?! I mean come on….
When picturing a small, intimate garden wedding, they don’t come any prettier than this. Set in the heart of Scottsdale, this venue made the most lovely backdrop for this sweet and simple wedding.
It’s not easy to look natural with a giant camera pointed at you, but this couple nailed it. They were so fun and interactive, and absolutely I love the results!
As this couple was flying in from across the country, we had scheduled the shoot for later in the week….well that didn’t work. With winds of over 50mph predicted we had to move the shoot for the day they flew in. So after getting up in the middle of the night to catch their plane, and then traveling all day…they got to take photos! This sweet couple didn’t miss a beat though and I’m so happy we squeezed in this gorgeous shoot!!
Not only are these two of the nicest people ever….they’re seriously gorgeous together. Even their dogs are photogenic. Which brings up my next point, I’m thinking about a new dog policy with my shoots…..you have to have them. If you don’t own a dog, one will be provided. :)
We were supposed to have clear weather until night, but of course as soon as I rolled into to Tucson….it started raining. I love the look of the desert when it rains, but it isn’t exactly ideal for an engagement session. We waited it out a bit and luckily it lightened up just enough to squeeze the session in. The clouds…the soft colors….the cactus….I’m so glad it all came together for this couple!
These two were struggling to decide between doing a natural background, or a more urban setting….so we just did both. I love the contrast of the two different looks! Can’t wait for their early fall wedding, at one of my favorite venues!
These two are getting married in California in the fall; with a cliff, set in the pines, overlooking the ocean as their venue. Completely drool worthy….I know. They wanted something a little different for their engagement photos so they decided to do them in Prescott while visiting family. We finally got a cloudy day here in AZ and I’m so thankful. It set the perfect backdrop for their adorable session.
