There couldn’t have been a prettier day for this adorable couple’s wedding. Set at the lovely American Ranch, every detail was picture perfect; making it such a fun wedding to capture. And that gown…..it doesn’t get better!

This was such a fun fall engagement session, with such a lovely couple! I can wait for their May wedding!

I really have grown to love the desert…..I just wish it was a little cooler. ;) Even with the 104 degree temps….this was such a fun wedding to shoot! The bride wanted to make sure their fur babies were involved in their big day, so she rode to the aisle on her horse; and their two doggies made an appearance in the bridal party. The kind of stuff wedding photographers dream of. Plus it never hurts when the couple is wildly attractive and some of the nicest people around. Congrats Mike and Kasey!

When envisioning a gorgeous, end of summer wedding, my guess would be most people would think of something resembling this wedding. Every detail was absolutely perfect, and just when you thought it couldn’t get better….they brought out the donuts…..

This couple had to deal with every bride and groom’s nightmare…..their original photographer had to cancel on them 10 days prior to their wedding. 10 days. As luck would have it, I was scheduled to be in the area the weekend before and was able to extend my trip to capture their big day. I’m so glad it worked out because these two were so great to work with….and not to mention their wedding was drop dead gorgeous….

Meet Riggins!! The newest addition to my sister-in-law’s sweet family!

This lovely Wisconsin wedding took place in a pioneer church, dating back to 1868; and the reception was held at a family farm surrounded by rolling fields and the bride’s uncle’s vintage car collection. Even with the mid-ninety temps and high humidity, this was such a fun wedding to photograph. And it’s worth mentioning, the bride’s cousin hands down gets the award for best dance rendition of “Billie Jean”….we’re talking giving Michael a run for his money. :)

To say that this shoot started a little rocky would be a bit of an understatement! This little sweetie had missed her nap, so photos were the last thing she wanted to do. She wouldn’t even look at me for about the first 30 minutes. Luckily, I have a toddler…..I don’t break easily. And by the last 10 minutes of her shoot, she really warmed up to me! ;)

Small, intimate weddings have officially won my heart. This recent Gunflint Trail wedding was no exception. Set at the lovely Poplar Haus, officiated by the brides sister, and with only the couple’s closest family and friends in attendance…there was nothing but love in this couple’s big day. Love and a really beautiful setting….

This little dude didn’t want to miss a minute of his photo shoot….so even at only 7 days old, he was awake the whole time. He tolerated being stuffed into a basket and having to wear woodland creature hats though….so I’d say he’s a keeper.
