I really have grown to love the desert…..I just wish it was a little cooler. ;) Even with the 104 degree temps….this was such a fun wedding to shoot! The bride wanted to make sure their fur babies were involved in their big day, so she rode to the aisle on her horse; and their two doggies made an appearance in the bridal party. The kind of stuff wedding photographers dream of. Plus it never hurts when the couple is wildly attractive and some of the nicest people around. Congrats Mike and Kasey!

When envisioning a gorgeous, end of summer wedding, my guess would be most people would think of something resembling this wedding. Every detail was absolutely perfect, and just when you thought it couldn’t get better….they brought out the donuts…..

It would make sense that it hadn’t rained for 100 days….and then the moisture decided to make an appearance for this lovely couple’s day. Luckily it cleared just in time to still have the gorgeous rooftop reception. And the sky that was left after the rain was pure magic.

These two wanted just a simple celebration, with a ceremony set in the gorgeous pines of Goldwater Lake. It was short, sweet, and oh so beautiful.

These two were so dang fun to work with! They brought their own music (brilliant!) and just had a great time. It made taking their photos so easy, and I love how fun and candid these images turned out!

Small, backyard celebrations have officially become my favorite. Doesn’t hurt that with this one every detail was so beautiful, and the couple are actually good friends of ours. Plus, holy crap are they photogenic together! And as an added bonus….man can they dance! Gotta love a cowboy wedding. ;)

This wedding was small and simple….but definitely not short on beautiful details. I also think they picked the one non-windy day of the entire spring, which definitely helped me!

I love couples that are able to have fun and interact in front of the camera….which definitely isn’t the easiest to do! These two nailed it though. I can’t wait for their November wedding!

We unfortunately had crazy to winds to contend with on this sweet couple’s big day…..welcome to spring in the southwest. We made it work though, and I’m so happy with the way the photos turned out! And on a side-note, can we all take a second to appreciate how photogenic the bride’s horse is!?! I mean come on….
